Description

Part druid, part sorceror, part rogue, part warrior, part human, part beast... all hero.

Too much? Be honest.

I'm workin' on an uber-detailed series I named “The Adventures of Erik Pelekai”. Okay, okay, maybe the title could use some work, but it sounded mighty cool in my head at the time. Thought it was catchy (still think so). Don't think it gon' catch on? I've my doubts, I admit.

Here's the deal: A mutli-class freak of nature by the titular name of Erik Pelekai goes a many, many adventures across the multiverse (mostly on Earth), fightin' evil, makin' friends with numerous familiar faces (canon & OC), and spreads the influence of good, unity, balance and harmony with nature & civilization.

And in case you wonderin' 'bout the creature heads around him, that's his destined spirits. And yes, just so we clear, and the fanged, quilled beast in the bottom left is the Thanator from the Avatar movie. The feathered eagle head right there under his tail. I assure y'all, I was goin' for a griffon- Pathfinder style. As for the 2 dragons on opposite sides, I'm sure the red dragon needs no introduction (I decided to mix the D&D version with its Pathfinder counterpart, see how it looks), and the silver & blue critter there is a Tienlung, aka a sky dragon (a species of imperial dragon), from the third bestiary of Pathfinder. And there's of course, the oh-so-famous T. rex in the center and above his head and in Primal Prey style (or my closest attempt to it). The feathers are my personal touch.

In other words, it's a set of creature spirits in a big crossover.

I supoose y'all wonderin' why so many destined spirits for one person? Well, I decided to give 1 spirit per person as the norm, with 2 or 3 less frequently. Any more than that, only for very special individuals.

As for my character, lemme let explain his odd characteristcs nice and simple-like.

Let's start with his tail, shall we? I frequently, if not constantly, pictured myself with a tail 'cause it be cool to have one, especially if it's prehensile (grasping). Thought the arms look a bit longer than they should be? That's the idea, believe it or not. I thought 'the odder my character, the better'.

The pose he's in- I was tryin' for my idea of the Tyrannosaur style. Y'know, a fictional martial arts animal style. I mean, how often do ya come across dinosaur-style martial arts? Would be interestin', even awesome to see and think of, I figure.

Plus, I gave my main character Tarzan-esque dreadlocks (or rather, tried to) 'cause I thought he'd look good with 'em. Regardless of what anybody thinks, I'm keepin' this trait and the above.

Oh, and I apoligise for the lousy quality of the scan and the sloppiness of the drawing. In my defense, I've been out of the drawing game for quite a while. So I may've neglected my drawin' skills, but hey, least I tried. I mean, that's what counts, right? ...Right? Plus, I'm a little lousy with humanoid designs and had a bit more experience with animals.

So, would ya say this needs improvements or is it good the way the pic is? Any advice is welcome. But no flames or negative criticism, got it!
